Mesh grape ball
A soft ball (gel, foam, or many little beads) sitting inside a woven mesh. You squeeze the whole thing; the net limits how far it can go, then it rounds back.

- Do not puncture the mesh. If beads escape, stop using it and tell a grown-up — loose beads are a mess and a hazard for little kids.
How it works
The mesh is a stretchy fabric grid. When you squeeze, two things happen: the filling squishes, and the net’s holes change shape. That extra resistance is why it feels different from a bare squish ball.
If the filling is beads, they roll over each other. That is granular flow — the same family of physics as sand in a bag, just cleaner and colorful.
Your hand muscles work against the net and then release. Squeeze, hold, let go — the ball rounds itself again.
Quality is all about a tight weave and a sealed filling. A toy that sheds beads is done. Recycle or bin it; do not keep squeezing a leaking one.
